With more than 35 years of experience in the utility contracting industry, Cad Casey brings Casey Utility Services (CUS) a deep foundation of operational leadership, contractor‑oversight expertise, and industry knowledge in his role as Chief Executive Officer & President. His career reflects a proven ability to build scalable service operations, implement disciplined quality management practices, and lead teams that consistently meet the performance, safety, and compliance expectations of major utilities.
Before joining CUS, Cad served as Co‑Founder and Vice President of Utility Resource Group (URG). Under his leadership, URG expanded from a single‑service provider with eight employees in one state to delivering fourteen critical infrastructure services with over 700 employees across 10 states. Cad’s operational guidance, program development experience, and commitment to quality were central to URG’s rapid growth and its reputation for dependable, compliant, and high‑performing field operations.

His background directly supports CUS’s Quality Management Program (QMP), where his expertise guides the creation of structured evaluation methods, field verification procedures, corrective‑action workflows, and transparent reporting that utilities rely on to manage risk, improve contractor performance, and maintain system reliability.
